2019 Spooky Sprint October 19 2019

A group of sprint participants waits for the cue to get ready. Everybody in the race received a "Spooky Sprint" tee shirt.

Volunteers Tina Hendrick, Vicki Retherford, and Jenny Barnes stand at the check in table. These ladies helped direct and assist runners from beginning of the race to the end.

Volunteers from the community set up tables at the finish line. These helpers were hard at work before the race even started.

Runners wait patiently for the race to begin. They shivered in the 36 degree weather while standing at the starting line.

Many families with young children opted to do the 1K version of the race instead of the full 5K.

Children and their parents finish the race. Some participants ran in costumes. to celebrate the Halloween season.
Freshman Ryan Kamp walks away from the finish line after the race. Kamp finished in first place.

A volunteer hands a young racer his paper. Upon completing the race, all athletes received a slip stating the place they finished in.

Running around the final bend, Madison Rempalski finishes the race strong. Runners reached the final leg and were met with applause and spectators.
