(As told by Baanko and Photographed by E.P.)
This is a baby sloth clinging to its mother. Our guide said they try very hard not to touch the sloths if possible because they are very sensitive.
This is a basket of baby sloths. The are sleeping. They sleep a lot. The also need to be kept warm. They get cold easily. That is it.
These are some frog eggs. They turn into tadpoles and they drop into the pond. Then they grows legs and arms and they lose their tail and then they are frogs.
I am touching a spikey tree that very much hurts. The iguana is the only animal that climbs the tree. Sloths can hang on the vines.
This anteater was found at the border of Panama. He had a bump on his head and was walking in circles. He will live the rest of his life at the sanctuary. Anteaters eat 3,000 - 4,000 termites a day!
