It’s possible to access to the amphitheater by two entrances, equipped with as many corridors made in polygonal work (opus poligonalis), which lead directly into the arena. 🚪🚪🚪🚪🚪

👌👌👌At the ends are the two entrances. The monumental one on the side of the city has a Latin inscription of Macrone with which it was possible to build the work.👍👍

Q(uintus) Naevius Q(uinti) f(ilius) Fab(ia tribu) Suorius Macro / praefectus vigilum praetorii / Ti(beri) Caesarius Augusti testamento dedit.

English:

Q (uintus) Naevius Q (uinti) son of the Fab (ian) family the Macro / police officer of the guard / Ti (beri) gave Caesar Augustus money (to build the amphitheater).

Turkish:

Q (uintus) Naevius Q (uinti) f () Fab (of) muhafız / Ti (beri) Macro / polis memuru Sezar Augustus'u verdi.

Spanish:

Q (uintus) Naevius Q (uinti) hijo de la familia de Fabia (es) el Macro / oficial de policía de la guardia / Ti (beri) dio a Caesar Augustus...(el dinero para construir el anfiteatro).

At the foot of the amphitheater stand the remains of the ancient city of Alba Fucens. The walls are polygonal (or megalithic), with perfect joints. ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛

Even today you can see the remains of the hollows on which the protection was mounted, a series of iron rods that supported a net. ⛓⛓⛓⛓⛓⛓⛓

There is a tunnel under the right steps, towards the San Pietro hill, which was used by the service staff.👀Under the steps on the right, there is the tunnel used by the servants.
