Flu Vaccine
- The Flu Vaccine Clinic will be provided here on campus Tuesday Sept 28th from 1:30 pm- 3:30 pm.
- It will be held in the theatre on a first come first serve basis.
- It is free of charge to all red clay employees.
Daily COVID-19 Health Screening
- Remember to perform the Daily Self Screener:
- Follow the below Covid-19 Process in the event of a positive case
- On-Site testing scheduled for this Friday, October 1, 2021.
- 3ft-6ft distancing is mandatory for Students at Lunch.
- Students have been given three weeks to establish who they would like to sit with in the cafeteria for the year.
- We will be re-assigning seats over the next couple of weeks.
- Outside seating will not be an option during inclement weather.
- Review the assigned areas for cafeteria.
- Cab Calloway’s School Counseling Department is Hosting a Fall Financial Aid Night for Juniors, Seniors, and their Families

- In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, students will have access to books authored by Latinx.
- Students may request to visit Mrs. Boyd at the library to check out books on display.
- Hispanic and Latinx Student Association are organizing student activities for the remainder of Hispanic Heritage Month.
- We will be holding our Back to School Night Virtually this year on September 30th 6:00-8:00 PM.
- Zoom Links will be completed before September 30th.
- Complete Question and Information Request Survey.
- The outcomes from the survey will help us plan our Administration session.
Erin Sullivan’s AP Class:
- Congratulations to Erin Sullivan’s AP Social Studies Class for a successful International Day of Peace.
- Our District’s Education Bus (EdTV) captured students insights on Peace, students participated in a Day of Peace Challenge during lunch and throughout the day.
- Thanks to Student Council Association leadership (Kyari Naidoo) and Mr. Winnington, we will have our traditional spirit week.
- Our Homecoming Dance will be scheduled for October 22, 2021.
- No guest are invited other than Charter School of Wilmington.
- We have a maximum number of 300 tickets.

- Dean Bolden met with following student voice organizations:

- Do you want to become a better student? Are you looking for scholarship money for college? Do you want to learn strategies for overcoming text anxiety?
- The workshops will be facilitated by Dr. Stephen Jones, the Dean of Engineer at Villanova University.
- Dr. Stephen Jones is currently an Associate Dean of SUCCESS in the College of Engineering at Villanova University.
- Students will be required to complete the form if you are interested:
Ken Baker’s students fully engaged in an activity applying the concepts of density, volume, and mass.
- Activity Bus is running everyday.
- If students are found after-school without being assigned to a club or rehearsal, they will be held accountable to our code of conduct and jeopardize losing privileges, including extra-curricular activities.
- Teacher Aide assignments will be approved by Mrs. Rigby upon receipt of a signed parent permission slip.
- Senior Privilege will begin this week for approved Seniors. Permission slips will need to be signed before approval.
- There is a new TikTok trend that involves vandalism and stealing, while recording the action on Tik Tok.
- Students who engage in this activity will be held accountable in alignment with the Student Code of Conduct which may include suspension, loss of privileges, and/or restitution.
