High school cheer vs. Covid-19 by Alex Merkulova

Covid-19

I took this photo at my local pharmacy. In my eyes, it symbolizes all the seriousness of the Covid-19 situation. This spreads awareness along with emphasizing how important it is to maintain distance and wearing a mask to stay safe.
All the medications in the photo reminds me of Covid and the state that we're in.

High School Cheer

Cheer uniform and a mask; emphasizing how the disease affects the sport. I made this composition to storytell and show people my experience in cheer this year. The "Covid Year" because we cheer in masks and practice in them, which is very unusual to all of us.
Homecoming flower crowns worn from 2019 and one from this year. There's a mask in the background, pointing out the impact of our cheer experience throughout this year.
This cheer poster exemplifies the traditions of the school that we keep even during the pandemic.
