- The top hitting team in the Big Ten, the Badgers are led by Dana Rettke, who has 325 kills and a .408 hitting percentage. In addition, Sydney Hilley leads the Big Ten with 12.3 assists per set.
- Head coach Kelly Sheffield has guided Wisconsin to six straight NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances, including a berth in the 2013 NCAA title match.

- Now in his eighth season at Minnesota, head coach Hugh McCutcheon was the 2015 AVCA National Coach of the Year and has guided the Golden Gophrs to two NCAA Final Fours and two Big Ten Championships.

Senior Defensive Specialist
- White leads Penn State, and is fourth in the Big Ten, with 390 digs and 4.19 digs per set.
- She has posted double-digit digs in all but four matches, including a season-high 29 vs. Purdue.
- White was a 2018 AVCA First-Team All-America honoree and the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. She was also a unanimous First Team All-Big Ten recipient.
ALUM SPOTLIGHT
KATIE SCHUMACHER-CAWLEY
- Schumacher-Cawley was a two-time All-American in 1999 and 2000 and helped lead the Nittany Lions to their first national title in 1999.
- Finished her collegiate career with 1,310 kills, 772 digs and 299 blocks.
- Previously head coach at Illinois-Chicago and Penn over nine years, Schumacher-Cawley is now in her second season as an assistant coach at Penn State.
REC HALL
Rec Hall is Penn State's busiest and most versatile venue, as five varsity teams which participate throughout all three collegiate seasons, call it home. Construction was overseen by architect Charles Z. Klauder, who also designed the University of Pennsylvania's Palestra, and upon completion, Rec Hall was considered one of the premier field houses in the nation. The facility has been the site of 21 collegiate national championships, 16 international gymnastics meets and five NIT games.
