My grandpa likes to put things that he found around the house and I noticed these new blue wind chimes. The sun was hitting these at just the right time and I decided to take this up close shot of these wind chimes.
I was looking at these new wind chimes in the evening thinking that I have never seen them before and I knew this would be a good shot. I got motivated by the sound, color, and the fact that my grandpa liked the chimes.
I was going to use this photo as a repetition of pattern but it didn't quite fit the description. I then decided to use it as leading lines. Julissa was glad to be the main focus in my photo. I like taking photos of people especially in the road, I believe it gives it more of a vintage kind of look.
My mother, my aunt, her kids and I had just arrived to my other aunts house. I wanted to get a photo of the road lines but I needed a subject so I told my little cousin to stand in the middle of the road and smile so she did just that. This was around the morning time so the sun was out and shining bright like a diamond.
I added this photo because I found the outcome of the process very interesting. Seeing the task and how to get the outcome of these photos motivates me to attempt this project with other people.
During photography class we were practicing painting with light and this particular action caught my eye. It clearly and interning way of painting with light and it motivates you to want to try it yourself.
Ive chosen this photo because as I was capturing the photo of these bricks for repetition of patterns, my dog was walking in the background. Although she has walked around the backyard for years she still gets curious on every little thing.
When I got home I took my dog outside so she can walk around and get her energy out and so I decided to take photos of the bricks. I did not notice my dog in the back until I looked back at the photos.
I loved this photo because Betty is staring right into the camera. A lot of people seem to think that pitbulls are harmful animals but all they want is to be loved just like other dogs. This photo represents up close image of Betty's face.
I was trying to get a picture of Betty as an up close image but she kept on moving around and I eventually got this picture of her. Her face is usually not so serious and I wanted to catch a photo of her silly face but she is a model at heart.
Not only is the house symmetry, the pool and the lights represent symmetry as well. This was one of the first photos I took for photography class and it is just interesting toes how better or worse my photos have gotten.
In the evening is when I took this photo and I was motivated to take this because I was trying to think of something that represents symmetry for the photo assignment and I realized my own house is an example of just that.
My little cousins are the most happiest children I know and they can find just about anything to pass the time. The girls are exactly what my sister and I were like when we were younger. This photo represents repetition of pattern.
I noticed my cousins playing in the dirt and the ladder right next to them so I snuck behind them to take the photo around the morning time.
This photo represents contrast by the palm tree outstanding the background. Palm trees represent many strong characteristics such as truth, honor, and were also represented as achievement.
I captured this shot in the evening when I got home in the evening. I thought that if the sun was the object in focus it would create that contrast effect. Walking around my backyard, I always try and find something I can shoot with the camera and I found the palm tree.
