BOYS JV WATER POLO The Water Polo teams faced off against Los Altos on Sept. 19

HHS versus LAHS, a rivalry that translates across every single sport. The boys JV Water Polo team faced LAHS determined to win against all odds. As the starting line entered the pool, the bench players cheered them on hoping to raise the energy level of their players.

For the first two quarters, HHS and LAHS were fighting back and forth as the ball traveled from one end of the pool to the other. Both goalies were attempting to throw the ball in a counterattack as the teams transitioned from one goal to the other.

However after halftime, LAHS quickly took the lead,continued to dominate HHS and eventually was up by two goals.

HHS was still in the game, and players took shot after shot yet they just could not put the ball in the net.

By the end of the game, HHS was unable to score the two points needed to tie the game even after hitting the post twice and stealing the ball from LAHS players.
