Welcome to #BeBCMS

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We are excited to welcome you through our doors tomorrow evening beginning at 5:30 for our annual Open House! Open House is an amazing opportunity to meet our staff, see learning spaces, take care of lunch accounts, find bus routes, and get schedules! We know this will be an ELITE year ahead and we can’t wait for it to officially begin on Thursday August 1st!

We have ten new faces at Bryan County Middle School! We are confident we have put together an ELITE staff for an amazing year!

AlL of our staff kicked off the start to the year on Wednesday- making plans and preparations for your child!

BCMS is running a new, innovative schedule this year! On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, scholars will have all their classes. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, scholars will have a BLOCK schedule. Ask any BCMS staff member for help with the schedule. Another new, exciting change regarding the schedule are our Connections classes will be on the semester schedule and scholars will have two connections classes everyday. We are thrilled to be able to offer more opportunities for our scholars and appreciate our staff taking on the creative work of designing these classes!

Our start time this year is 8:35. Our end time is 3:35. Breakfast will begin at 8:10. Homeroom begins at 8:35 and is for attendance purposes. If you have questions regarding car drop off or bus transportation, please call our front office! DROP and read time continues and for the month of of August, it is at the end of the day and is a choice novel. We encourage families to grab a book off our of Free Little Libraries when you are at open house to read with your child!

This year we are focused on #LifeInMiddleSchool being fun while also challenging our scholars! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to give me a call, text, or email. We want to make this an ELITE experience for you and your child!
