Martin Luther King's statue

Let me tell you about a man who made history. His story is one of a kind with bravery, perseverance and courage and this man was Martin Luther King Jr.

People protested

Martin protested to stop unfair laws. He gave his famous I Have A Dream speech and said "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character".

Martin gave his" I Have A Dream speech"

Martin has perseverance because he never gave up when things became difficult. He has courage because he had the nerve to stand up for what was right. He had bravery because it wasn't always easy.

Martin at a meeting

Martin Luther King was a great man. He was born in the 1920's. You should thank him for what he did. You see your class? Whites and blacks are friends and there is no more segregation. He did a lot for us so we're not separated.

We're all friends
