Restaurants and my experience By: tanishka

Celebrating birthdays can be especially fun in Ann Arbor. Here are my reviews of restaurants I enjoy celebrating my special day on. Some of the restaurants that I went to are Paesano, Bigalora, Everest Sherpa and Slurping turtle.

This is the gelato that I had for my birthday at Paesano. It has a creamy, sweet cold taste in your mouth. With the flavor of strawberry and the soft, crunchiness of the waffle. On your birthday the servers lights a candle and sings happy birthday to you. Its a place you can enjoy with your family, go to: 3411 Washtenaw Ave, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. I give this place a 5 star rating because when I went there on my birthday I liked how they sang happy birthday with a candle and the food was fantastic. Photo credit - Tanishka

CHEF LUCIANO DEL SIGNORE is the head chef and owner of Bigalora. There we had Margarita pizza, coming in a flash of 90 seconds, while the pasta takes some time. The both the pizza and pasta were warm, cheesy and flavorful. With the couple of times that I have been there, whether it was for lunch, breakfast or dinner I give this place a 5 star rating for their quickness even though there are a lot of people and I recommend it. You can find the restaurant at 3050 Washtenaw Ave #112, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Photos used with permission by Bigalora.

These are momo dumplings, one of the two things that I ordered at Everest Sherpa. I love dumplings a lot, so I have them every time I go there. The dumplings are extremely tasty and the sauce that comes with it, adds a boost of deliciousness. This 3-4 year old restaurant is found at: 2803 Oak Valley Dr, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103. From Slurping turtle I ordered two different kinds of sushi. One was the California roll and the shrimp tempura. I love sushi, its my favorite food so that's why I love this place. Which is why I give it a 5 star rating for the sushi and the ramen because I tried some of the left over and it was good. I would go back there again many times, the location is: 608 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Photo taken by Tanishka and Creative Commons.
