Growing Color

I chose this photo because it looks really pleasing to the eye and was taken with good lighting. I want others to see how I took advantage of good lighting and a random setting. I picked up the camera because it was an assignment during class time when I walked past a tree that could hold a crayon nicely.

Hangman

I chose this photo because it was my first really good photo of the year in this class and I think it shows my creativity when taking a photo. I want others to see that it’s a good photo that was set up purposefully to show creativity. This photo shows a short depth of field and I took it during class. I picked up the camera for the assignment during class when I was walking back to class and saw a string hanging on the stairs.

D46N Spirit

I chose this photo because it shows a good setting with an interesting subject. I want people to see the spirit key club has for not only our club but community. I'm connected to this photo because I love key club and it shows a spirit stick, representing the spirit we have for the club. This photo shows elements of framing. I took this photo at a key club meeting preparing our spirit chants for when we would attend fall rally. I saw a lantern when talking to my friend and though it would make a good frame.

Beauty of Nature

I chose this photo because it shows the beauty of nature. I really love being outside and going into nature like hiking so this photo encompasses what I love. I want people to see how beautiful nature is and that despite all the technology that nature is still beautiful. This photo shows elements of repetition. I took this photo when I was outside and saw how the light hit the similar trees and thought it'd make a great setting for a photo.
I chose this photo because It was my favorite of my reputation photos. I liked how the reflectors on these barriers reflected the light. I want others to see how cool the barriers looked when a light hits them. I like this photo because it shows where one of my favorite class is located and shows the work done in the class. This photo shows elements of repetition. This photo was taken at school when looking for elements of repetition when I came across the the barriers surrounding the artwork provided by Biven's students.

Vintage Frame

I chose this photo because it has a nice setting of my subjects. I want people to see that I knew how to take advantage of a setting to take a good quality photo. This photo shows elements of framing. I picked up the camera because we were going out to eat and I saw how good of a photo it would be of my friends sitting in their car.

Lucky Ring

I chose this photo because I took it of my lucky ring I got on Chinese New Year. I want people to see what I think brings good fortune into my life.This photo to me shows something I wear all the time to give me comfort when I feel like I need a little luck. This photo shows elements of short depth of field. I took this photo at school when I saw a tiny whole in the ground and I though it was a perfect fit for my ring to sit In it upright.

Thanksgiving Dinner

I chose this photo because it’s in a great setting and the picture was taken with a lot of thoughts in it. There’s no significant amount of personal attachment but I wanted people to view this as a warm and homey photo as Thanksgiving tablecloth gives of a warm tone. The fork shows contrast as the shadow or it shows over the tablecloth. I took this photo at night and was inspired to take it when I saw the plate on my table.

Always Joking

I chose this photo because it's of my best friend and I love the colors that encompass her. I want others to see that my friend is a perfect photo subject because she always ends up making funny faces. This photo shows elements of leading lines. I took this photo at a football game when my friend was making jokes and I saw the poles leading to her face.

Sprinkle of Luck

I chose this photo because It shows a ring that I love in a very odd place. I want others to see that you can really take a picture of anything anywhere as long as you have good lighting. This photo is of a ring I wear almost everyday and it's special because my grandma gave it to me. It shows elements of rule of thirds. I took this photo outside when I was passing by this sprinkler and thought the green of my ring would look cool near the green of the leaves.
