An Invitation For You from greater houston rowing club

We hope you will join us for a fun evening of food, drink and seasonal cheer at GHRC's annual holiday party. This is a great opportunity to visit with old rowing friends and meet new club members. The party also serves as the club's annual general meeting, where we'll briefly review highlights of 2019 and announce the board members for 2020. Look forward to seeing you there!

Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM

Jacquie and Paul Spencer's house in Katy, 27906 Iberville Glen Drive

GHRC members and their guests (one guest per member)

Please dress as you like; casual, formal, Bridget Jones Christmas sweater, Santa suit ....... whatever you are comfortable in. The party will be indoors and out, so bear in mind the weather and dress warm if needed.

As usual, GHRC will spring for a party feast favorite, the always outstanding and not to be missed 'brisket a la Kerry'. The rest of the food will be potluck style, where everyone who'd like to can bring a dish of their own to share. If you're not sure what kind of food to bring, some suggestions are listed below. Please bring your dishes ready to serve.

  • Salads (leafy, pasta, rice, cobb, fruit, slaw, quinoa, potato)
  • Casseroles, mac and cheese, roasted veggies
  • Finger foods (cheeses, deli meats, crackers, veggies, nuts)
  • Buns or rolls
  • Dips
  • Desserts (cupcakes, pie, cookies, brownies)

Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for everyone. If you want to raise a glass with alcohol in it, you'll need to bring your own beer, wine, or spirits.

Use the RSVP link below to confirm your attendance and to let me know what food item you intend to bring. Please reply by December 1st.

See you on December 7th!
