The Library will be open before school and after school beginning September 9th. Mrs. Onco will be bringing books to the students during lunches: 8th grade - Tuesdays, 7th grade- Wednesdays, 6th grade, Thursdays - as supplies allow. Please encourage students to check out eBooks and audiobooks from the library catalog for a greater selection. Instruction on checking out eBooks has been provided in the students ELA classes, but additional or specific instruction can be provided on request. The STEAM Society Club is a popular club with students that provides and opportunity for enrichment and engagement beyond the classroom. Help with this program is requested from the community (parents), teachers, administration and staff. Please contact Mrs. Onco if you can help in any area, including co-sponsor, resources, ideas, or occasional presentations. We want the best for our students at IMMS!
Teachers and students can enter this contest honoring our library bunny's birthday this month. (He'll be one year old.) Just snap a picture of your pet and upload it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag: #imms_reads or you can upload it to the Padlet (qr code on flyer).
