Save the Music 2019

Thousands of local teens, performers, and families gathered at Twin Pines Park for the annual Save the Music Festival. Festival attendees enjoyed a wide array of music from local bands such as Piece of my Heart to school musicians from Belmont-Redwood Shores schools.

In addition to music, the festival-goers had access to a variety of kid-friendly activities such as face painting, bounce houses, carnival games, and an instrument petting zoo. Parents and teens also enjoyed food from a variety of local restaurants such as Waterdog Tavern and gourmet food trucks.

The proceeds from the Save the Music Festival help the School Force Academic Foundation, which raises money to support elementary instrumental music and other important programs in the Belmont-Redwood Shores School district. Volunteers of all ages could be seen throughout the day and play a huge role in making the festival possible each year.
