New awards categories
Another innovation for our 25th edition of World Routes is the introduction of 4 new Awards categories to recognise even more individuals and organisations; Individual Leadership, Rising Star, Overcoming Adversity and Airline Partnership. We will also continue to celebrate the exceptional marketing support provided by airports and destinations to their airline partners. This has already been well received by our community; voting has only been open for two weeks and has already surpassed the total number of votes from previous years!
Young Leaders programme
A new initiative for World Routes 2019, the Young Leaders programme has been introduced to encourage professionals aged 30 or under to attend their first Routes event, creating a unique opportunity for the industry’s rising stars to experience crucial business discussions, network with CEOs and gain unique insight into the trends currently shaping the future of aviation.
That’s not all!
Based on your feedback, we have made a number of developments to the technology and sessions that help you do business at the event. Our new provider will be integrating single sign on technology to the meeting system, making it even easier to manage your meeting requests from your mobile device.
We will also be improving the logistical elements around our Fast Track sessions and providing delegates with more information as to what airlines want to hear during their five minute conversations. Look out for the new delegate badge designs - they will make your networking activities even more effective.
For the first time at a World Routes event, and to celebrate our 25th birthday, Aviation Week Network is producing the official on-site daily.
