Explore the World at Festival 25

New for 2019, Festival 25 will take place on Sunday 22 September, and will provide delegates with the opportunity to visit our exhibitors without any schedule conflicts. Meetings will start earlier on Sunday to ensure meeting opportunities are not lost and, exhibitors can have more time to showcase themselves to all attendees. Festival 25 will also provide the chance for informal networking but with a relaxed and fun festival vibe.

Raise your profile

Brand new sponsorship packages and high-impact branding opportunities, including a dedicated Information Zone, are guaranteed to deliver your marketing messages to your key targets.

New awards categories

Another innovation for our 25th edition of World Routes is the introduction of 4 new Awards categories to recognise even more individuals and organisations; Individual Leadership, Rising Star, Overcoming Adversity and Airline Partnership. We will also continue to celebrate the exceptional marketing support provided by airports and destinations to their airline partners. This has already been well received by our community; voting has only been open for two weeks and has already surpassed the total number of votes from previous years!

The growing opportunity Down Under

International capacity to and from Australia has surged over the past five years, hitting over 54 million in 2018. Tourism Australia's 2020 strategy will see overnight visitor spend reach more than A$115 billion annually by the end of the decade.

Young Leaders programme

A new initiative for World Routes 2019, the Young Leaders programme has been introduced to encourage professionals aged 30 or under to attend their first Routes event, creating a unique opportunity for the industry’s rising stars to experience crucial business discussions, network with CEOs and gain unique insight into the trends currently shaping the future of aviation.

That’s not all!

Based on your feedback, we have made a number of developments to the technology and sessions that help you do business at the event. Our new provider will be integrating single sign on technology to the meeting system, making it even easier to manage your meeting requests from your mobile device.

We will also be improving the logistical elements around our Fast Track sessions and providing delegates with more information as to what airlines want to hear during their five minute conversations. Look out for the new delegate badge designs - they will make your networking activities even more effective.

For the first time at a World Routes event, and to celebrate our 25th birthday, Aviation Week Network is producing the official on-site daily. ShowNews will include news and analysis from the air transport industry’s leading sources; Air Transport World (ATW), CAPA – Centre for Aviation, Routesonline and ASM. It will include event news, up-to-date market analysis, exclusive interviews and the latest route announcements from leading industry blog Airlineroute.

To help celebrate 25 years of World Routes, every delegate will receive a special edition of Routes News at the event. The magazine will look at highlights from the past 25 years of routes and the air service development community, as well as what the future holds for the next 25 years.
