Congratulations to everyone for successfully completing their undergraduate career at the University of Pennsylvania! It has been amazing getting to know so many of you through classes, both large and intimate. I will fondly remember the check-ins we shared while walking out of a class in McNeil, drinking tea with Professor Lareau, or eating pizza in the conference room with Marcus. I learned so much from my professors, undoubtedly, but I also learned a lot from my peers as well. These moments did so much to help me make it through.

- Mckayla Warwick

Congrats Sociology fam, we did it! I hope you are all celebrating yourselves for this monumental achievement. I am glad to have crossed paths and taken classes with so many of you. I know we will all go on to do great things and continue to investigate the world around us, putting our best foot forward to make the world brighter. Good luck, and farewell!

- Tandra Mitchell

Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff in the Sociology department for a rewarding 4 years at Penn. Being in classes with you all has consistently enriched my understanding of Sociology. Being your friend outside of the classroom has brought me joy and comfort during the ups and downs. Though 2020 has been a very challenging year, I know that we are equipped with the skills to contribute to society in positive ways. Congratulations and cheers to this milestone!

- Chelsea Gardner

Congratulations to Penn Sociology Class of 2020! I am humbled and grateful that our paths crossed during our time at Penn and to have learned so much from each of you. A special thank you to Marcus, Professor Flippen, and the dedicated Penn Sociology Department for guiding us, encouraging us, and fostering curiosity and critical assessment of ourselves and of the world in which we live every step of the way. To my peers, wherever you are headed and whatever you hope to do, know that you are capable of rising to any challenges that may face you. I am proud and excited to see all that you have accomplished and will accomplish in the years to come.

- Cindy Luo

Congratulations everyone!! We did it! I'm fortunate to have made friends with a lot of you in my classes and I know we will all grow up to do great things with the education we got from Penn Sociology. Thank you to all my professors and TAs who constantly rose the bar as instructors and mentors. Special thanks to Dr. Flippen, Dr. Zuberi, Marcus, Dr. Viscelli, Dr. Rosado, and Dr. Charles for being instrumental to my sociological foundations which I will carry with me through my future studies! Also special shout out to 2020 Honors Thesis friends, you are all so smart and inspire me! Good luck to everyone!
