Christine Mueller Adobe Video for Educators Workshop

During assignment 1, I realized that editing to blend photos into a video slide was much harder than anticipated. I did, however, learn how to black out the end and how to minimize the volume of the music to fade out at the end. I am hoping that my one minute video will look and be much smoother now that I have a few more editing tools in my tool box. Thanks for looking at my video!

For assignment 2, I have created a storyboard for my new video titled, "Breaking News!" The video story was created out of the videos my coworkers are making for their assignment. (We are all taking this course at the same time...)

The first video from my coworker, Tony, uses an AR tool we are learning to create a velociraptor that roams the school hallways because someone leaves a door open. The other video is based on the "Don't Be Late" theme that Jessica is using by showing herself wasting time in the morning, running in late for work, and then blaming the traffic on her tardiness. I have blended these stories together to create a "fake news" field report story line for my video. You can see the scheme as it is in my head below.

Watch out for velociraptors!!

Here is the rough cut version of my news story! I am excited to learn how to edit the clips a little better and especially to edit the sound. I also want to add all the usual graphics including a running news ticker across the bottom. Can't wait to get to that part!

A LOT left to edit and add, but I am very happy with the opening sequence! Use Motion Array to find the image and music and edited to time out just right, I think. I am REALLY pleased with the way the other features such as After Effects and Audition sync seamlessly within Premiere Pro. So much fun!

Here it is! Breaking News! Vol. 5

I got the idea for this newscast after viewing the subjects of my coworker's video projects and mashed them both up into this news story. I added their videos below so you can see my inspiration for it.

I loved being able to learn how to use Audition, After Effects, and Motion Array templates inside Premiere Pro. It is an AWESOME tool and I look forward to learning how to add a running news ticker on the bottom of the screen after this workshop is over. I hope you enjoy!
