DESIGN STATEMENT
In this case, I'm sure I made it. In the last eight weeks, I've travelled 400 kilometres to make this video. Even though this video starts at my home and ends at my office, it's all the dots on the map. However, between that two points, I see so many chances to take a good view on that map. Because, every time when I near a crossroad I will think about the scenery, that is I can see too much beautiful view in every day if I take another road every day when I pass a fork road. In this way, every day at a different intersection, choosing a straight, left or right turn is a new path. Thus, during this project period, I spent 200 hours covering more than 400 kilometres and found 40 minutes of material. Finally, through Adobe Premiere, I whittled the footage down to 3 minutes of raw footage. Later, considering the fit with the audio and the overall rhythm, I found that adding some materials could not be well applied to this video. So, after a second thought, I developed a cyberpunk video with the idea of a road trip. During the whole task, I think the addition of filters has greatly improved the whole video. Because in the material, the position of the light in each video and the baffle around the reflected light are different. Accordingly, to be in hollowness environment, the unity of illuminant is done very hard. Therefore, by adding the first filter to each material, that is, after adjusting the filter, all materials are unified in the light environment, which is convenient for subsequent modification. After integrating all the videos and exporting the videos I needed, I adjusted the colour I wanted through the video colour palette again. Because for the theme of cyberpunk, high contrast, high sharpness, red and blue conflict tone is the most important link. So in this section, as I showed in the Project Process above, I adjusted except for a cyberpunk tone that I liked. Especially at the 32nd second, because of the highly enhanced contrast and sharpening, the surrounding lights enhance the atmosphere of the video through the Dundar effect of the fog. Secondly, through the use of sabre plug-in, the original lighting on the building is greatly enhanced, thus making the whole building more atmospheric. In addition, the internship task of KKB341 was carried out simultaneously when the video was made, so the task was not promoted according to the initial schedule during the whole process. But I was glad that I was able to finish the assignment before the deadline.
MOODBOARD & MY PHOTOGRAPHY
DESIGN PROCESS
My production process of this video is to edit the video I have shot into a video I need through Adobe Premiere. Then put the video into Adobe After Effect and add some modern effects (Figure 3). Then put the finished video into Adobe Premiere for the final color palette. In addition, in order to enhance the lighting effect around the building, I applied this technology here after learning saber plug-in.
