The Coker University men's and women's cross country team will travel to Charlotte to compete in the Queens City Invitational this Friday (Sept. 27). The women's race time is slated for 5:00 PM, and the men will follow at 5:30 PM.

Runner to Watch

Spence is making a name for herself on the course this year as a freshman. In her first collegiate race at the Bulldog Stampede she came in first for the Coker women's cross country team with a time of 25:39.95.

"It was nice to finally get the season going," said head coach Peter Early. "I think there were a lot of positives to take away from the first meet. There is also a lot of room for growth still, and we are excited to see how the season will progress."
