H2GROW GROUP 4: Mateo garcia, cheng cheng, ngan bui, samantha smith

Problem: People don’t know the right time to water their plants!

A lot of people assume that plants need water at the hottest time of the day (usually around 3pm-6pm) or they simply forget. But actually, you are suppose to water between 5 am to 10 am.

Goal:

Help people who grow flowers and plants cultivate their plants more effectively. Make the watering experience as easy and enjoying as possible.

Target Audience:

gardening lover

Solution:

With a busy schedule, people depend almost everything on technology. That’s why “H2GROW” is introduced as a guidebook for plant lovers.

Depending on the weather of different regions, when and how to water your plants might vary. H2GROW is featured with the weather on your phone to optimize the watering process.

Features of the App

- Has a plant identification feature to help user identify type of plant

- Tells you how much water each type of plant needs

- In sync with your morning alarm to remind you to hydrate your plant and yourself

- Has a “plant encyclopedia”. Gives facts and details on every plant.
