Welcome to Module 7

Motivation

We are nearing the end of the semester. You are almost there! This week we are discussing motivation, organization, goal setting, and time management. How do you manage your time? How do you organize your life? Do you have goals? How do you stay motivated? Click on the "Staying Motivated" button below for the reading.

You have been motivated to start college classes now how will you stay motivated to continue on this pathway? There are two types of motivation-extrinsic and intrinsic. We will learn more about these in the reading this week. Click on the "Two types of motivation" button below for the reading.

We will also learn more about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. In order to achieve our goals and stay motivated these needs should be met. Click on the link below to learn more. Click on the "Maslow's Hierarchy" button below for the reading.

For more on motivation, check out Dan Pink's TedTalk.

Once you have completed the reading and watched the TedTalk, you will complete a discussion and respond to at least two classmates. Please make sure to include more than one sentence in your response.

Last, we have our last quiz for the semester. Here are a few helpful hints to help you prepare. All of these are from the reading this week.
