Chicago Rush Local Select
Chicago Rush Select Tryouts
For the 2020-2021 soccer year, we will again be offering our Premier players the opportunity to be a part of the Chicago Rush Select & National Select programs.
There will be no Chicago Rush Select tryout this year for our current players. Instead, our Chicago Rush Select rosters will be formed through coach nomination or director recommendation within our database based off performance across the current soccer year.
New players will be invited to express their interest in being placed on Select within the pre registration process. At our club tryouts, our coaching staff will assess those who wish to be considered for a roster position for both levels. Select squads and programming will follow the club offers invitations.
Rush Select
In 2019, Rush Select teams travelled to Italy, Costa Rica and Sweden to compete against some top teams overseas.
Midway through the year, Rush Select was "Reloaded" to open up opportunities for more Rush players to be involved in the program. With four regions all playing in tournaments across the U.S., Select teams from the West, Midwest, Northeast, & South regions all enjoyed their time on the field. Following regional events, players from all four parts of the country will receive evaluations and some will be nominated to compete on Rush Select National teams.
Rush Select are due to travel to Portugal, France & Germany in 2020!!!!
Player Loan Program
The Player Loan Program is a Rush Soccer interclub player exchange opportunity that allows players from other Rush Soccer Branch Chapters to experience playing with other teams all over the country. Its goal is to provide numerous opportunities for our members in order to facilitate and guide their development as well as helping them to achieve their individual goals and dreams.
Through the player loan program, players are able to take advantage of playing opportunities with teams in other regions of the country. Players can play in events that their team may not be able to participate in, play at higher levels of competition, be exposed to regional or national staff, travel regionally, nationally or internationally as well as experience different playing styles, coaching, cultures and traditions.
