The sunrises and sunsets in San Francisco are magical. I’m sure that can be said about a lot of places but from someone who doesn’t travel that much yet, it was breathtaking. My dad and I decided to travel to San Francisco about a year or two ago on a whim. The tickets were cheap and we found a decent hotel to stay at, so why not. An Adventure was calling to us.
The memories I made there will last a lifetime. I will never forget the walk I took across the Golden Gate Bridge on a chilly springtime morning with my dad. The sun slowly rose over the city, illuminating it in a golden hue as streaks of purple and orange colored the morning sky. Or the sunset cruise we took around the city. The sun sank into the ocean, setting the sky ablaze once more with a spectrum of colors before the night washed over the city. It’s a city so full of life and wonder.
We stayed around three days, enough to get a good feel of the city and learn a bit more about it. There are many places to see including, China town, Little Italy, and Japan Town which have amazing food. The Ghirardelli chocolate shop is a must-see for any chocolate fanatic visiting the city. My dad and I may several stops there before leaving the city. All in all, I had a great time and I think the city is worth visiting again.
