Overnight In a Bookstore BYOP: A Seeds Slumber Party & Read-A-Thon

Overnight in a bookstore sounded like a dream come true to our staff of voracious readers.

They were so excited they wore their pajamas to work a week before the event!

Seeds staff, Todd Seabrook and Billy Hallal, even appeared on WKYC Channel 3's "We the People" in pjs with "bed head". They kept host Tiffany Tarpley smiling. Their pajamas were the talk of the set, especially Billy's one-sie.

After business hours on March 10, Appletree Books opened their doors to more than a dozen BYOP guests.

Owner Lynn Quintrell (not pictured) rotated staff throughout the evening. They were all smiles as guests began to arrive.

Including the one in the shark one-sie (Billy) and Seeds Site Coordinator Kara Krawiec.

Guests made themselves at home in the cozy shop.

There are so many fun spots in the store...but the stairway to Appletree's loft is possibly our favorite.

Games like Bananagrams proved to be entertaining reading breaks.

Vero Pizza Napolenta sponsored dinner. No slumber party is complete without a few cheesey slices!

When it wasn't a game break, guests curled up in nooks around the store.

Like any good slumber party, not much sleeping occurred. Fortunately, Luna Bakery and Starbucks provided breakfast and much-needed caffeine.
