About D3

Design Studios: Your Secret Weapon - Being a successful designer is about MUCH more than just your “craft”. In the business world, designers must communicate their vision to more than just their design peers. Good designers know how to bring non-designers into their design world through communication, collaboration, selling and the ability to bounce back. In this workshop, we will explore how to use soft-skills and design-skills within a design studio framework. This fast-paced workshop will put your all of your skills to the test as you uncover the secret weapon which brings clarity to complex problems. You will walk away with a perspective on how to successfully use time-boxed constraints to your advantage and get stakeholder buy-in early in the design process. This session caters to early to mid-career participants, but is useful for all levels and fields interested in mixing design in business settings. - Adriana Alcala, PwC | Manager & Maca Baigorria, Sr. UX Designer (Same Time - April 3 & 4)
