NWU COVID-19 Response Fund Build a stronger and more resilient NWU

Thanks to the support of our alumni and friends, Nebraska Wesleyan was able to hold on-campus classes this year through a hybrid model of classroom and remote learning.

Created last summer, The COVID-19 Response Fund makes the NWU student experience possible by funding technology for hybrid learning, student support and additional financial aid, and sanitation and spread prevention supplies.

Although this year has been far from normal, I am thankful to be back at NWU. My in-person classes have been a point of excitement – thank goodness for NWU’s small campus! My professors have been extremely understanding and patient, which has alleviated a lot of COVID-19 related stress.

Faculty still care just as much—or even more now—about our success in the classroom. My professors continually come up with ways to make class accessible to students in person-to-person classrooms, via Zoom, and through alternative assignments.
