Hayden Synchro tryouts begin 14 march
At Hayden Synchronized Skating, we are looking for athletes who are continuously striving to increase their skating skills, committed to excellence and team success.
Team USA
Team USA is a designation given by U.S. Figure Skating and must be earned each season by our Lexettes, Junior, and Haydenettes, Senior, teams. Athletes compete highest level of synchronized skating both national and international stages.
Scheduled over a single weekend, tryouts for Lexettes and Haydenettes are held together. Saturday in Marlborough Massachusetts and Sunday in Lexington Massachusetts.
Star Mates & Ice Mates
Our Star Mates & Ice Mates compete nationally at the Intermediate and Novice levels. Skaters for either team must be under the age of eighteen and have completed at least Juvenile Moves in the Field.
Tryouts for Star Mates and Ice Mates are held together; Saturday at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough Massachusetts and Sunday at the Hayden Recreation Center in Lexington Massachusetts.
Mini Mates
National competing progression begins with our Juvenile team, the Mini Mates. Athletes for this team may be no older than twelve as of 30 June and have passed Juvenile Moves in the Field.
Both the skills and drills session and tryouts will take place at the Hayden Recreation Center in Lexington Massachusetts.
Shooting Stars
We call our development teams the Shooting Stars. These teams are designed for skaters aged seven to twelve who wish to learn the foundations of synchronized skating in a fun and relaxed environment. Shooting Stars Preliminary and Pre-Juvenile compete at local competitions and Eastern Sectional Championships.
Shooting Stars drills and placements are held at the Hayden Recreation Center in Lexington Massachusetts.
