When memes matter how I got into UCLA using memes

A meme (/ˈmiːm/ MEEM) is "an idea, behavior, or style that spreads from person to person within a culture".

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is a public research university in the Westwood district of Los Angeles, California, United States. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2015–2016 ranks UCLA 16th in the world for academics. In 2015/16, UCLA is ranked 12th in the world (10th in North America) by the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and 27th in the 2015/16 QS World University Rankings.

So how does A leads to B?

Confused? Let me explain

In my time at the A-Levels I was known as the "meme king". Taking my own sweet time to edit photos into "meme" where people could laugh and share the joke, I mastered the art of making something funny out of the ordinary. At the same time, I was perplexed. How could people relate so easily to a meme? How could people understand it instantaneously?

Even without knowing who Ginger is, you would instantly know that he has done something bad

So in my essay I explored about the power of meme and how I strive to make my explanation to be like them. Easy to understand and entertaining.

I strove to simplify my explanation to the level of memes, where we will instantly understand when we look at the pictures.

I talked at length about the creation of my "Fe-Male" meme, which took me a few hours to create. At the end of the day, its not about the memes itself that matter, but rather my fun-loving, creative character.

Activities, achievements, they are all there to showcase your personality. They don't just exist by itself. I realized you don't have to sell your soul to write these essays. All you have to be is to be true to yourself and talk about what you love. In the end of the day, the admission officers want to see the real you, not someone who tries too hard to get in. And if the real you is good enough, you're UCLABound
