A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a machine use to scan different parts of the body. This machine uses stong magnets to manipulate protons into a straight line just like a metal two a peice of metal.

What is the procedure before the scan? First the patient has two lay flat on the board. then the nurse has to places noise cancelling headphones because the machine makes a lot of noiseand go tick every 10 seconds. Then, depending on where the nurse wants to scan,they place you under the ring of powerful. Then they send short bursts of radio waves to make the protons go into a gumble
