We are controlled by the structure of the society in which we live in, often stitching up different ideas of perfection. We fabricate a version of our very best selves, like the puppets of society.

This collection is a symbolic work that shows the transience of life, the futility of pleasure, and the certainty of death.

My designs focus on hand-made lace inspired by decaying foliage, offering an aged, organic look, coupled with rich fabrics gilded in gold and silver.

It represents all the inter-morbid symbolism hinting at the luxurious things in life. It also reminds us of our acute awareness of the brevity of life and the inevitability of death.
