Meet our New Staff
Special Education Teacher at Diamond Lake School. Ms. Lewis received a Bachelors attending the Northern Illinois University "I am most looking forward to meeting my students and coworkers and becoming part of a new family. I am also looking forward to learning new things and watching my students grow."
Pre K Teacher at Diamond Lake School. Ms. Shanes received a Bachelors attending the College of Wooster. "I am most looking forward to meeting my students, building connections, and helping them grow as learners! I am also looking forward to joining the amazing Diamond Lake community of teachers and staff, and to work together with them to grow and excel as a teacher."
1st Grade Teacher at Diamond Lake School. Ms. Caliendo received a Bachelors attending Illinois State University. "I am most looking forward to building relationships with my students and finding new ways to connect with them virtually. I am also excited to join the Diamond Lake community and get to know my colleagues."
Social Worker at West Oak Intermediate School. Mr. Hoyer received a Bachelors attending Valparaiso University and Masters attending the University of Chicago. "This year I am looking forward in partnering with staff, leveraging creativity and experience, to develop and implement a learning environment that meets the social-emotional and academic needs of students."
Instructional Coach at West Oak Middle School. Mrs. Pecoraro received a Bachelors attending Purdue University. "I look forward to working with everyone while learning and sharing with the staff."
Instructional Technology Coach at West Oak Campus. Mr. Smith received a Bachelors attending Northern Illinois University and Masters attending Concordia University. "I am really looking forward to working with a great community of staff and students. I am excited for the opportunity to help others navigate the virtual world and continue assisting staff and students to be successful in the modern education system."
