With the years flying by, many people tend to not realize how far along the film industry has come, and people surely forget about how long movies have been out for. Movies that came out in the early 2000s are still timeless classics, and would still be hit films if they were put out today. Thor
Thor, which stars Chris Hemsworth, was an instant hit in the box office and has already been regarded as one of the best marvel movies, and has started the Thor saga, with different movies coming out recently. With the years flying by, this movie does not feel like it came out that long ago, but still has the production value of just a few years ago.
Rio
This family friendly movie from 10 years ago makes especially kids feel the nostalgia of things they watched a long time ago. While this may have come out 10 years ago, this film is still a very good movie to watch as a family, of if you feel like watching an animated movie with a brilliant plot-line.
Real Steel
For those who watched real steel, many know how much of a good movie it is, and that it is worth watching time and time again. With the film starring Mark Wahlberg and features his fighting expertise mixed with futuristic robots, it still incorporates humor and wholesome moments, and it will be a good movie for a long time.
Kung Fu Panda II
This sequel of the very highly rated first movie definitely set some expectations in terms of production quality and plot-line, however in the end the film proved to be a great overall film. With new action, characters and of course the fan-favorite beloved panda, Po. Voice actor Jack Black humors the crowd and makes this movie hilarious and fun to watch.
With so many movies coming out that year, it can be quite difficult to narrow down which movies are worth mentioning, but these are some of the biggest movies that came out in that year. With the time flying by, movies seem like they came out very long ago, with some fan favorites such as Toy Story turning 25! Looking back and rewatching old movies can create a sense of nostalgia, so if you want that feeling definitely watch these movies!
