6,163 Anteater grads from the Class of 2021 and the Class of 2020 celebrated their successes during Graduate Stage Moments.
Taking place over five days, grads were able to experience having their name displayed on screen and announced among the cheers of their friends and family members as they crossed the stage.

We'd like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in #UCIGivingDay on April 18.
With the support of 170 donors, we raised $21,742 for six Student Affairs centers, departments and programs. The generosity of our donors is deeply appreciated.

As the pandemic forced students & staff into a remote environment for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year, UCI endeavored to find a way to safely celebrate the Class of 2020 that would do justice to this momentous milestone in their lives, and ensure that they did not become the “Lost Class.”
2021 Dynamic Womxn of UCI Awards
The Womxn’s Hub received over 75 nominations with moving stories about the inspirational work that womxn are doing across the campus.
Nominations included stories of innovation in program creation and relentless dedication to the success of UCI students; of overcoming all odds to persist, resist and thrive.
Anteater Awards highlight: Outstanding Sustainability Program
CALPIRG ran a “Save the Bees” campaign, which aims to protect the bees, their ecosystems and our food systems. At the same time, they have educated and informed the community through a webinar, public webpage and educational signs.
Through their efforts they were able to certify UCI as a “Bee Friendly Campus”, deliver over 18,000 petitions to the Governor’s Environmental Staff in support of 100% clean energy, and have educated over 7,500 students during their recruitment drive.
Oakley becomes official eyewear provider for UCI Esports athletes
During the yearlong partnership, Oakley will provide UCI Esports student athletes with eyewear equipped with Prizm™ Gaming Lens Technology. This partnership is the first major sponsorship from a sport performance brand for the university’s 5-year-old esports program.
