Everyday, our 'Mamma', Marisa, treats our guests to an array of home-cooked Southern Italian specialities. You'll get to try a range of local dishes cooked using ingredients fresh from the farm and other local suppliers, as well as indulge in a plentiful supply of local wine.
FRESH PRODUCE
During a La Lucana experience, your taste buds will come alive as you sample some of the finest quality fruits and vegetables in Southern Italy. Our farm grows a range of delicious and fresh produce including, olives, aubergines (egg plants), oranges, cherries, watermelons and much, much more. At the end of September and throughout October you will even get to pick your own olives and visit the local olive press to see how olive oil is produced.

Using our fresh produce, Marisa cooks up some fantastic pastas, meat dishes and desserts that will leave you feeling full and happy.

IMMERSIVE & AUTHENTIC ACCOMMODATIONS
Our farmhouse offers private accommodations for our guests. Adjacent to each guest room is a large balcony that offers spectacular views to some of nature’s most stunning landscapes. When not out exploring the sights, you can sip a cappuccino on the balcony, take a stroll through the olive groves, go for a leisurely bike ride or even enjoy a spot of bird watching.
TRADITIONAL ROOMS
All guests will stay in a typical Matera farmhouse room complete with a double bed, wardrobe, air-conditioning, fan, heating, refridgerator, towels, bedding and hand soap. Each room also has access to WIFI.
EN-SUITE BATHROOM
Each room has an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower cubicle and all amenities including a hair dryer.
RELAXING POOL
During the summer months (usually June-September), the farmhouse opens its relaxing swimming pool which is set amongst the olive groves and surrounded by breathtaking views. After a morning of exploring Matera or an afternoon of cooking with Marisa, you can cool off in the pool or simply lay back and enjoy the sunshine. We provide sunloungers, parasols and small tables for that all important glass of wine!
