Scholarship Fundraising Report Students’ thank you letters

Recipient 1. Abi Jeon

I want to become a nurse who cares for the elderly with love, compassion, and patience.

Hello! I am Abi, a nursing major at Korean Bible University. I came to Korea 2 years ago. As I started my college life, I had to study and work simultaneously, because of lack of academic ability and finances. But the NGI scholarship gave me great strength and happiness.

I will never forget the love of your support, and I will study hard and become a person who can generously return the love I received, to the people who are in need. I hope this short letter may be a small comfort to all of you who are having a hard day.

RECIPIENT 2.Ruth Lee

I want to be a youth counsellor who bridges the gap between North & South Korean youth.

Hello, I am Ruth. I am studying as a college student through God’s grace and the scholarship I received. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to focus on my studies. Because of you who anonymously supported me, I am able to study harder. As always, thank you.

RECIPIENT 3. Chloe Kim

I want to be an English teacher for people in need because I know what it’s like to be in need as a North Korean refugee.

Hello, I am Chloe. I received a scholarship with your love and encouragements. Thanks to you, I am able to continue my studies. And I also decided to live like you supporters who share warm hearts.

Thank you again, for your love and encouragement.

RECIPIENT 4. David Kim

“I want to become a pastor to dedicate my life in reforming the Korean Peninsula back to Jerusalem of East.

I'm David Kim, a pastor studying in the second grade of Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Korea. I'm thankful to the Lord that he guides me to study at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary, the hall of piety and theology by his love. I have online classes due to Covid19, but I'm just grateful for my daily life.

I can have such happy learning days because your supporters are praying and sponsoring with the heart of God, who loves North Korea.

Even nowadays, the arduous and tired news of the North Korean people dying without hope, knowing Jesus is coming to me. I hear that news over the phone through my family and friends. And whenever I listen to them, I engrave in my heart the Lord's Grace and the calling by his Grace. He called me and set me up here today for God's fantastic salvation plan and mission as an evangelist for North Korea.

The hearts and prayers of the sponsors who bear and pray for North Korea are being delivered to North Korea. I will not forget the love and dedication of the sponsors who have sponsored my family and me. I will love God more with all my heart and will and run for the gospel for the North Korean people. Thank you!

Nehemiah scholarship is for the low-income North Korean refugees to equip them with spirituality and knowledge. It is also to raise them as a leader for reunited Korea.
