This is an open ended project based, inquiry approach on the study of dynamics and energy.

Designed to keep Montessori updated with current educational implementation of science technology and engineering.

Current and relevant projects allow you to meet NGS Standards

Aligned to Next Generation Science Standards

Getting children to understand the various forms that energy can take.

As with all of our modules in this series, it includes Teacher's notes with precise presentations and background information to give teachers the knowledge and confidence to easily present the materials and projects.

  • Provides a delineated structure, with choices within that structure
  • Shared inquiry and presentation
  • Opportunities for self adjustment and refinement of each project
  • Includes direct and indirect aims
  • Provide in depth explorations

Included explorations in the following areas

  • Terms and etymology on dynamics
  • Historical figures
  • Inertia
  • Friction of surfaces
  • Friction and heat
  • Friction and movement
  • Roller coaster design and operation. STEM design project
  • Action and reaction
  • Spring scale
  • Mass and inertia
  • Passenger vehicle - STEM design project
  • Balanced and unbalanced forces
  • Pendulums
  • Self Powered Car - STEM design project
Beautifully designed experiment cards along with a complete teacher's manual make the implementation easy.
