Year Four

Dr. Anne Dickerson, Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, was awarded the ECU Lifetime Achievement Award in Research and Creative Activity for her accomplishments made throughout her 24-year career at ECU. Dr. Dickerson’s work focuses on senior driving safety, including the tools used by occupation therapists to assess senior driving capabilities.

Dr. Ray Hylock, Associate Professor in the Department of Health Services and Information Management, was named 17-18 CAHS Scholar-Teacher.

The ECU Office of Innovation and New Ventures recognized Dr. Lynne Murphy, Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy, as part of the Engagement and Outreach Scholars Academy.

Katelyn Kotlarek, a doctoral student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department, was awarded a F31 fellowship from the NIH. Kotlarek was the first recipient of an F31 at ECU since 2010.
