What is the Galloping Gaels Fund?
The Galloping Gaels Fund is the foundation of fundraising for Saint Mary’s Athletics.
The fund supports operating budgets, coaches salaries, scholarships and other strategic initiatives under the leadership of the Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics.
The Galloping Gaels Fund facilitates the continued success of the Gaels and will allow Gael Athletics to continue to compete for WCC Championships in all sports.

Student-Athlete Scholarships and coach salaries
Saint Mary's has sustained a high level of success with tremendous coaches & student-athletes. Support in this area is necessary for SMC to continue its upward trend in the classroom and in athletic competition.
Operating Budgets
Support for operating budgets help Saint Mary's coaches with equipment, recruiting, and travel. The fund supports equipment such as heart monitors for practice and helps SMC coaches recruit across the nation.
Strategic Initiatives
Gifts to the Galloping Gaels Fund help the athletic department execute strategic plans and create opportunities for increased success.

Mail your check made out to: "Saint Mary's College" to the Athletic Development Office, 1928 St. Mary's Road, PMB 4300, Moraga, CA 94575.
Write "Galloping Gaels Fund" or your specific fund in the memo section.
Matching Gifts
If you or your spouse/partner work for a matching gift company, you can double or even triple the impact of your gift. Check with your Human Resources department for eligibility.

TEAM FUNDS
Gifts to individual team funds are imperative to each program's success. Donations are used at the coach's discretion to benefit their team.
Tip Off Club
Donations to the Tip Off Club are used at Head Coach Randy Bennett's discretion to supplement strategic program initiatives, including the international tour to Australia, basketball facility upgrades, season scheduling, and more.
