Water Requirements: Little to none to keep compact, responds to irrigation which encourages luxuriant vegetative growth.

Soil Requirements: Tolerates alkaline soil, sand and clay.

Other Info: Native to Southwestern US. Attracts butterflies, honey bees and more importantly, native bees. Xeriscape perennial accent, dry borders, rock gardens, desert restoration. Cut flowers. Low maintenance. Prune once a year after blooming down to approximately 6" to 1'.
