Images of Austerity Wesley College Documentation Project

Wesley College stood for over 100 years on the campus of the University of North Dakota. Due to state-mandated budget cuts, the two historic buildings were demolished in the summer of 2018. A small team of students led by Dr. Caraher, a history professor at UND, worked to document the history and architecture of Wesley College through research, archaeological record keeping, photography, and videos.
This page explores the physical ramifications of budget cuts on higher education through the use of Film photography. Scroll through and enjoy!
