AGAPE HOME

IT BEGAN A FEW YEARS AGO AS A DREAM TO ADDRESS THE SUFFERING OF DOWLAISWARAM’S ELDERLY, BUT THAT DREAM HAS GROWN.

WITH A NEW SENSE OF PURPOSE AND ENERGY, WE ARE BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE...

IT WON’T BE JUST A MEAL AND A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP, BUT SPECIALIZED HEALTH CARE AND PROGRAMS TO KEEP OUR OLDER FRIENDS’ LIVES VIBRANT ANd to SPREAD THE VALUE OF LIFE’S DIGNITY TO THE VERY END TO A NATION AND ECONOMY THAT HAS LEFT MANY BEHIND.

Our new facility currently under construction will triple our capacity and be a magnet for some of India’s best minds to address the growing national problem of elder abuse and neglect.

GRACE CHILDREN'S HOME

THE SAD STORIES NEVER SEEM TO RUN OUT FOR INDIAN CHILDREN GROWING UP IN POVERTY. UNSTABLE OR NONEXISTENT FAMILY SITUATIONS AND LACK OF FOOD AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES PUT MANY ON A PATH TO DESPAIR.

For nearly seventeen years, CEM has created a safe space offering the nourishment, community and education that every kid deserves.

At the present time, there are 175 kids in the Grace Children’s Home and their future is hopeful because of your partnership!

EDUCATION INITIATIVES

For all of the relief programs we offer, we know that education is the most effective path out of poverty. What began with the commitment to give orphans an alternative to a life of day labor has grown to include the surrounding villages and has graduated pharmacists, nurses and engineers.

At present, there are 220 students at the English Medium School and we are supporting 14 graduates to further their efforts into secondary and college education.

Church Planting & Vocational

We’ve seen great strides over the past several years, training and sending out scores of church planters and missionaries annually. And now that impact is even greater with the addition of the women from the Sewing Training School.

By pairing Bible training along with their vocational studies, CEM is producing self-supporting missionaries who can reach even further into their villages with the good news of the Gospel.

Last year, CEM graduated 45 church planters and brought back 350 for continuing education at an annual Pastors' Conference.

Health Care Initiatives

worries over Access to Reliable health care for their family can keep any parent up at night. And It's no different in India than it is here in the u.S.

Since its first Medical camp in 2002, CEM has been committed to providing health care to the most marginalized populations in Dowlaiswaram and the surrounding area.

Last year, over 3000 people received quality health care both via preventative and surgical intervention (i.e. Lots of safe baby deliveries!) through the efforts of the CEM Medical team and your support.
