SUPPORT OUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19 Together, we can be there for young people in this time of crisis.

As coronavirus forces us all to make changes, you can be assured that The Prince's Trust is here to help young people cope today and prepare for tomorrow.

We have received incredible messages from our supporters and partners, looking for ways to support our Young People Action Plan and help young people through such a difficult time. This guide will give you the information that you need to make a life-changing difference in three key ways.

1. YOU CAN SPREAD THE WORD

OUR SUPPORT HUB

Do you know a young person who needs our help? Our Coronavirus Support Hub has advice, guidance and resources to help during this difficult time. We have also expanded our Live Chat function to offer a direct link to our friendly team of youth support workers seven days a week.

Follow @princestrust on social media and share our content. We want to make sure young people across the UK know that we are here to support them. It's a small thing you can do, with a big impact.

Tell us about how you are uniting with The Prince's Trust to be there for young people in this time of crisis. #ProudToPartner #ProudToSupport

2. DONATE TO OUR YOUNG PEOPLE RELIEF FUND

We will always be there for young people who need us, but right now, we need your support more than ever. That's why we have launched the Young People Relief Fund, so you can help us make a direct difference today.

Whether you can make a donation, take on a fundraising challenge or share our work with friends, family, staff and customers, young people need your support. Here are a few ideas to get you started!

GET CREATIVE

We've teamed up with Fearne Cotton's Happy Place to launch The Great Create, a new campaign proudly supported by STAEDTLER to boost the wellbeing of young people in the UK.

Whether you're looking for home-based activities to keep your household entertained or creative ways to stay connected to family, friends or colleagues while everyone stays indoors, The Great Create can help you to bring your favourite people together, both online and at home.

You don't need any experience in arts or crafts to get involved - we’ve got loads of step-by-step guides and how-to videos to help you along, and many of our packs are using easily available household items.

GET SKILLED

At The Prince's Trust, we're all about helping young people gain the confidence and skills that they need to succeed. So why not get inspired and use your time at home to learn a new skill, teach an online class or challenge your family, friends or colleagues to start something new?

Start your own challenge and get skilled! Check out our website for ideas and show us what you're up to on social media.

GET ACTIVE

Exercise and fitness challenges can be a fantastic way to help with feelings of anxiety or worry at this time – so why not get active to support The Prince's Trust? Check out our website to see what other people are up to.

Later this year, we will be getting active at our Palace to Palace cycle ride and walk. Why not sign up today, so you have a challenge to train for and look forward to? You can read more about Palace to Palace and The Walk here.

MAKE A DONATION

By donating to the Young People Relief Fund, you could:

Help young people who are missing school and college continue their learning

Support young people who are out of work into jobs where they can make a difference

Give the most vulnerable young people the support they need to cope day-to-day in these anxious and uncertain times

3. VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME

BECOME AN ONLINE MENTOR

As we move our support for young people online, we will need to recruit an army of mentors who are able to support them digitally. You don’t need to have any specific qualifications or training, just be ready to offer support to young people, helping them to develop key skills, fill out job applications or provide advice for our business owners.

To register your interest drop us a line and we will be back in touch with more information shortly.
