Frankenmuth Michigan's little bavaria; by matthew hole

Some of the Bavarian architecture inspired by the Franconian settlers

WHO ORIGINALLY SETTLED IN FRANKENMUTH?

Frankenmuth was originally settled by immigrants from the German region of Franconia. Their settlement became the inspiration for the Bavarian culture this town acquires.

Where Frankenmuth is in Michigan

WHERE IS IT?

Frankenmuth is located in Saginaw County, Michigan. It takes my family about two and a half hours to get there.

Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland; the world's largest Christmas store.

Zehnder's Famous Frankemuth Chicken Dinners; a location for some legendary chicken dinners.

The Bavarian Inn; another famous chicken restaurant in Frankemuth.

WHAT TO DO?

One major attraction that me and my family like to go to in Frankenmuth is Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland. In addition to that, Frankenmuth is also home to some really good chicken and baked goods over at Zehnder’s.
