ALL MEANS ALL WINNERS

Congratulations to our Q1 All Means All Winners! These staff members showcase the Wayside Way each day, and their hard work for our scholars is recognized and appreciated. For this quarter, our winners are:

WAYSIDE VISITS SPREETAIL

30 juniors and seniors from Wayside: Sci-Tech High School visited e-commerce company Spreetail in late September. Organized through SLA Foundation, the trip provided an opportunity for scholars to tour the local company and participate in a panel discussion with employees from a variety of backgrounds, including sales and computer engineering.

KENDRA SCOTT PARTNERS WITH WAYSIDE: SCI-TECH MS & HS

The Kendra Cares Program will host a jewelry-making event for 40 scholars from each the middle and high school. Scholars will be able to earn a spot at the event through their good behavior at school, including showcasing social responsibility, performing random acts of kindness, behavior improvement and demonstrating leadership skills.

The event will take place after school on December 18 at Wayside: Sci-Tech Middle School. Please note that this time and date has changed from its original.

SCHOOL NEWS

WAYSIDE: ALTAMIRA ACADEMY

AMA hosted a Hispanic Heritage Program in late September. Scholars performed traditional music, and were treated to a performance by Ms. Zimmerle, Quetzatl Martinez, and Ms. Martinez.

WAYSIDE: EDEN PARK ACADEMY

Fall Ball 2019 was a huge success for EPA!

WAYSIDE: REAL LEARNING ACADEMY

First grade scholars at Wayside: REAL Learning Academy take care of the planet by composting after lunch.

WAYSIDE: SCI-TECH MIDDLE SCHOOL

Scholars in Mrs. Slaven-Ward's gardening class are learning how to grow plants completely indoors and away from natural sunlight.

WAYSIDE: SCI-TECH HIGH SCHOOL

Last week, Wayside: Sci-Tech High School celebrated Homecoming week! On Tuesday, scholars and staff dressed as their twin.
