Welcome to Habib Public School. We offer our learners a comprehensive education from Class 1 (UK National Curriculum) to O Levels, with the option of the AKU Board from Class 8 onwards. We also offer the AKU College programme for our students. I (Ali Hafeez Dhanani) have often faced a moment when I though, why always me and there were numerous moments when I felt that i am getting all the achievements that i could.I left Habib Public School in Grade 7, and studied in another school for next 3 years but despite after 3 years i wanted to get back to Habib Public School. Yes, It was difficult to get the admission again as no school have the policy of admitting the student in class 10th (OLevels).Studied 9 Subjects in my previous school, but was required to study 10 Subjects gave me some challenging time, especially when a medical student needs to study Principle of Accounting. However, Due to special help of my Accounting Teacher, Sir Baqar, I was one of the top achievers of my class.Later, My mind shifted towards Actuarial Science to persue as my career. Accepting my teachers advice i chose the option of doing the A'Levels Privately and Accelerated. Yes, I faced many demotivating comments but i believed in me and gave my 100% for it and ended up with pretty decent grades. The special thing about my grade was they were better then most who does their A'Levels in Long Two Years.Presently, I am Admitted into Institute of Business Management and perusing my dream career. With this, I am earning for myself. I am providing tuitions for all O'level and Commerce A'level Subjects. Secondly, I have started my Own Venture of clothing named as AFR Apparel. Thirdly, To Satisfy myself, I've being doing Scouting as my Voluntary Work Since childhood. Habib Public School played the best part in my success. It taught me how to be strong, it taught me how to be special in multi-tasking and the most importantly it taught me how much you can enjoy your life and keep yourself stressfree. School also gave my such important teachers in my life whom i can never forget as they played a block building role for me
Tech specialist Dr. Faisal Khan addressed the students of Habib Public School today on 6th Jan 2020. Dr. Faisal Khan earned a Masters and a Doctorate from the University of Oxford in 2013, where he also went to a Business School. Since then, he has founded Peshawar 2.0 (P2); a movement of young techies, creative and entrepreneurs who are bent on rebuilding and re-branding the City of Peshawar. The movement’s major initiatives include Basecamp; a co-working and community space, Revolt; an incubator dubbed as the “startup factory up north,” and 100s of events and workshops.
Dr. Khan has also been the founding director of the Institute of Integrative Bioscience at CECOS University where he currently leads a research group as an Assistant Professor. His work includes the ground breaking SynBio KP project funded by the Government of KP and the IGEM Peshawar teams of 2016 and 2017. Dr. Khan has won several awards in the academic circle and advises the federal and provincial governments on numerous boards and committees on education, science, technology, and innovation. While addressing the students of Habib Public School he emphasized on the importance of Team Work, and perfection in work. He also advised students to explore their talents for their future success. Students were also able to understand the importance of selecting the right course for their studies.

Stalwarts of Yesteryear vs. Stars of Tomorrow Basketball and Hockey Match
The Habib Public School students enjoyed an afternoon of friendly Basketball and Hockey match with our Proud Alumni at the Toyota Gymnasium and Raza Suleman Hockey Field. The students were able to engage with the alumni socially as well as develop their physical attributes through sport. The main content of this activity was skills based where students got to try out passing, dribbling and shooting techniques. At the end of these matches the students were appreciated for their practice and hard work.
Well done to all those who represented HPS and HPSAA, and a Warm Thankyou to our Olympic Champions for giving this opportunity to our students. You were a credit to our school representing our sports values - Respect, Challenge, Resilience and Teamwork.
Inter House Urdu Fehmi and Bait-Baazi Competition
Co-curricular activities are equally important as academic activities. They help to develop mental, physical, and creative abilities of a child and make him a confident meritorious student, who can face challenges positively.
Pursuant to its spirit of Championship; Habib Public School conducted the Inter-House Urdu Fehmi and Bait Baazi Competitions with fervor. The day was cherished by the crowd spectating Habib Public School's famous 'Urdu Fehmi' and Bait Baazi competition on 19th December 2019 in which the students took part under the similar scheme. Competitions like these, hone the student's capabilities to comprehend the effective use and jargons of 'Zaban e Urdu' for which the students undergo rigorous preparation of 2 months through specially crafted booklet for this purpose. It was contested by 3 pupils from each house. Yellow house took the lead as the winning house, second came the Green house, and Red house was declared third.
23rd November 2019 began with the School Ceremonial Guard and the school brass band playing in symphony with “Pomp and Circumstance” a March written by a famous musician Edward Elgar. As the ceremony started, the graduands entered the gymnasium followed by the academic procession and the official party which entered the hall with the School Mace.
Habib Public School graduation ceremony symbolizes the move of the former students called graduand into a new place in education as a graduate where they use their skills and talents developed during their studies to contribute to the future advancement of society. Each graduand was presented to the chief guest to symbolize their transition to their new role and they were applauded for their success so far and in anticipation of their contribution to society in the future.
At the end of the ceremony all the graduates were formally admitted to the school alumni community as new members.
During the ceremony, those who received high rewards were awarded with medals by the chief guest to indicate that they have attained the very highest levels of academic and co-curricular achievements.

On November 29, 2019, another CPPL Session was conducted in collaboration with Taskeen Foundation. The session was specifically designed for the teachers for Middle and Senior Section who teach the students of 12 years and above age group.
The RLD-Hub organized this students’ counseling session for the senior section on Friday November 29, 2019 at 2:30 – 3:30 pm. The entire teaching faculty of 62 teachers from all 3 sections i.e. MS, AKUS, SS participated in two groups, the similar session in two different rooms were facilitated by Ms. Alizeh Valjee and Ms. Zara.
In the session, the different behavioral issues of students encountered, were identified and discussed. The PowerPoint presentation showed by the facilitators helped the teachers understand the effective ways of counseling students.
The more practical examples were shared through role plays where teachers enacted the problems they came across in routine.
The session formally ended by the vote of thanks owed to the distinguished guests in the form of souvenir and Letter of gratitude presented to them by our respected section leaders Ms. Iffat Asif &
Mr. Baqar Raza
Team RLD- hub at HPS makes use of a variety of events to provide collaborative learning and work time for teachers. This CPPL Day was the time where our own teachers who attended out-source Professional Training Programs in the past academic year served as in-house facilitators to benefit their fellow teachers through this platform.
We are delighted to share the details of all 9 sessions for the CPPL day held on November 16, 2019. It was tailored for the professional needs of teachers and served the purpose of improving efficiency and productivity, as well as finding new ways towards personal development and success.
The day started at 8:30 am with the first slot reserved for the DLCB feedback session for an hour. The entire teaching faculty was present at the auditorium to attend. The session commenced with the most exiting practices of the mentors related to the DLCB training conducted in the academic year 18-19,
Mr. Younis Bashir (ICT Teacher) shared outstanding practices such as:
1. Working with the students through Google class room.
2. Sharing links related to the subject and general knowledge in Google suit.
3. Animated presentations to make student more interactive towards learning.
4. Collaborating and discussing numerous topics through kahoot and powtoon presentation.
5. Online practices in and out of the classes.
Later Mr. Alamdar (ICT Team Lead) elaborated about the HPS online result portals through presentation. The session was concluded by Ms. Rabia Saleem, Chief Technology Officer – HPS.
After the DLCB feedback session, tea was served at the Green area.
From 10:30am – 12: 30 pm the entire teaching faculty was engaged at 9 different Professional Development sessions of their choice facilitated by their peer teachers. 9 different rooms were allocated at the AKU section for the sessions.
The day passed through discovering all the learning sessions well in different ways such as;

7. Effective Behavioral Management in the Primary Classrooms by Samrana Tariq & Madeha Hassan
8. Teaching and Learning Maths through Problem Solving by Midhat Mustafain
9. Health & Saftey in Sports by Mohtashim Ali
These sessions were evaluated at the end by the participants through the evaluation forms.
The last hour of the CPPL Day was scheduled for the subject team meetings with the agenda of Lateral progression & Vertical articulation. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and set the learning outcomes for each grade level.
The entire day went well, the participation, enthusiasm and positive spirit of the teachers helped to encourage the fellow teachers as facilitators and make the time together, both productive and fun.
