RIDING last week
It was another victorious day for the Mount Holyoke College riding team, which secured its sixth consecutive high point collegiate title with a win at their second home show of the fall at the MHC Equestrian Center. Worcester State University Show. The event saw the Lyons notch 40 points to hold off second-place UMass-Amherst (38 points). At the end of the day, sophomore Libby Sams (right) was named Overall Reserve High Point Rider. She also secured the Reserve High Point Novice Rider title. Additionally, senior Lily DeBenedictis was named High Point Intermediate Rider.
SWIMMING AND DIVING last week
The Lyons shouldered a tough loss at Wellesley to wrap-up action before the Thanksgiving break. Junior Samantha Nemivant won off both boards, while senior Bri Groves (pictured left) claimed victory in the 200-IM, while also posting second by mere margins in both the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke events.
basketball last week
The Lyons had a busy week last week, playing a mid-week game before competing at the USJ Tip-Off Tournament to conclude the weekend. Rookie Annika Brooks (pictured) earned All-Tournament Team honors after posting her second double-double of the season with a game-best 17 points and 18 rebounds.
