TAMIU's 'Closer Than Ever' program helps former students realize they can still conclude their degree journey… and often in less time than they think. And TAMIU says there’s millions of ways it can help this happen this Summer and Fall.

TAMIU’S Senior Art Exhibit '6 Feet Apart' Now On Virtual Display 

6 Feet Apart, a virtual, month-long exhibition of TAMIU senior art students is now online. The virtual exhibit showcases the artwork of a unique group of TAMIU art students. They are unique in that they had many new obstacles to overcome and challenges to face in the pursuit of their art education during this global pandemic. These students did not put their dreams on hold but instead worked within these new limitations.

New TAMIU ED Tech Specialization Offers Graduate Degree Tightly Focused on Post-Pandemic Future

Just as the Pandemic elevated technology’s role as a strategic partner in education, trained educators with an Ed Tech Specialization will be the change agents to lead long-term sustainability and innovation in the classroom.

TAMIU’S Dr. Aaron Olivas Named One of 12 Laredo Chamber of Commerce School Bell Award Winners

TAMIU associate professor of History Dr. Aaron Olivas has been named one of this year’s 12 Laredo Chamber of Commerce School Bell Award winners. The distinction is presented annually to educators selected by their peers for their performance in and out of the classroom.
