Winter in Milwaukee can be very cold and wet, but that does not mean there is nothing to do around the city...

#1 The Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee Art Museum is the largest museum in Wisconsin. It houses over 30,000 works of art and sees nearly 400,000 visitors each year. It's a great place to go on a cold snowy day in the city!

#2 Public Market

If you're looking for a place to eat but can't decide what you want, the Milwaukee Public Market is the perfect place to go. The market offers many different vendors and you can even take cooking classes!

#3 Red Arrow Park

If its a comfortable day in the city, you can go ice skating with your friends and family. Red Arrow Park is the perfect place to get some exercise in the winter. Afterwards you can grab a nice hot cup of hot chocolate at the onsite Starbucks!

#4 Milwaukee Public Museum

The Milwaukee Public Museum is another perfect place to go on a cold, snowy day. It opened to the public in 1884 and houses over 4 million specimen. The museum also has a real live butterfly exhibit!

#5 Harley Davidson Museum

Although the Harley Davidson Museum has only been open for about 10 years, it celebrates the 115 year legacy of the famous bikes. The exhibits show the creation, design and history of the motorcycles.

Milwaukee is a beautiful city that is full of fun activities for everyone to enjoy, even on the coldest days of the year.
