Daily COVID-19 Health Screening
- Remember to perform the Daily Self Screener:
- Follow the below Covid-19 Process in the event of a positive case
- On-Site testing scheduled for this Friday, November 12th, 2021.
Report Cards:
- Report Cards will be distributed on November 16, 2021.
Grading Day and Parent-Teacher Conference:
- Save the Date: Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for November 22nd and 23rd.
- November 22nd: 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- November 23rd: 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
- We are offering virtual parent-conferences via Zoom.
- Teachers will be sending communication to you regarding when and how to schedule conferences.
- Our Virtual School Choice Night is scheduled for December 1, 2021. More information forthcoming.
- Families will be able to tour our building in small groups. Please email us at elizabeth.inman@redclay.k12.de.us
- Current 8th Grade Students please read the attached Choice Admission Process to Cab Calloway School of the Arts for High School.
- A formal letter will be sent to 8th Grade Parents regarding the update.
Excellence of Teaching Award
- Franklin Mint is looking to honor 20 Outstanding Educators in the state of Delaware.
- Recipient receives $1000 dollars for school related programs and resources.
- Deadline is December 17, 2021.
Friendly Student and Community Reminders:
- Students must have a pass from teachers when going to an assigned area in the building.
- Vending Machines are available in the morning, during lunch, or after school. Not during class or activities.
- Bus Riding is a privilege. Vandalism is a violation of the Code of Conduct. Be Responsible.
- Upon arrival, students are still required to report to the cafeteria if they are in Middle School, the gym if they are a Freshmen or Sophomore, and the auditorium if they are Juniors or Seniors.
- Senior Privilege: Seniors are still required to sign out in the front office.
- We are encouraging students to arrive on time to class.
- Safety First: We are reinforcing and encouraging drivers to discontinue making U- Turns in the middle of two way traffic. Thank you all for your cooperation.
- We are excited to announce that our very own Cassidy Zelano signed a full scholarship to play Softball for Wilmington University.
- Family and friends gather together to celebrate her accomplishment as she embarks on a new journey.
- What a wonderful gift to all in attendance for this past weekend Showstoppers performances. The beautiful sound mixed with dance and visual arts was magical.
- The expressive playing of the Strings, Pianist, and Band were noticeable among many guest who lacked the theatre to witness the first Showstoppers performance in almost two years.
- We thank all of our students, staff, parents, and those who volunteered this past weekend for their contribution to the success of Showstoppers.
- A Special Shoutout to Marjorie Eldreth for producing Broadway is Back themed performance and Brian Winnington for managing the ticket sale support.
